Corfu International Airport, or Ioannis Kapodistrias (Capodistrias) International Airport (CFU or LGKR) is the airport on the Greek island of Corfu (Kerkyra) serving both scheduled and charter flights from European cities.

The airport is named after Ioannis Kapodistrias, a distinguished Corfiot European diplomat and the first Governor of Greece and is around 3 kilometres south of Corfu Town. You can fly into Corfu airport direct from many UK airports with charter airlines and budget airlines including Monarch Airlines, Thomas Cook Airlines, Thomson Airways, Easyjet and Jet2. The majority of the charter flights arrives on Mondays and Fridays.

From Corfu you can sail in the North and the South Ionian. The Northern Ionian includes Corfu, Paxos and anti-Paxos as well as ports along the coast. Southern Ionian islands include Lefkas, Kefalonia, Ithaca and Meganissi as well as many smaller islands and pretty ports along the coast.

Flights & Transfers

Fly  to Corfu (CFU) with Easyjet, Jet2, Monarch, Thomas Cook, Thompsonfly, Ryanair or Torair on Mondays. The transfer from Corfu airport to Gouvia Marina is just 20 minutes.

Travelling to the Island Sailing Yacht Charter base in Lefkas – one option is to fly from the UK to Corfu.

Particularly if you are coming for 2 weeks (or more, for those lucky enough!) you can fly direct to Corfu with Easyjet on Saturdays or Sundays and the 3 hour transfer from Corfu to Lefkas is by ferry and taxi or coach.
