Kefalonia Island International Airport (airport code EFL or LGKF) is the airport on Kefalonia Island, Greece and is 9 Km west of Argostoli, the capital of Kefalonia Island, the largest of the Ionian islands in western Greece.

You can fly into Kefalonia, Argostoli airport direct from a number of UK airports with charter airlines including Easyjet, Monarch Airlines, Thomas Cook Airlines and Thomson Airways.

Travelling to the Island Sailing Yacht Charter base in Lefkas (or Lefkada) – one option is to fly direct from the UK to Kefalonia.  Particularly if you are coming for 2 weeks (or more, for those lucky enough!) you can fly direct to Kefalonia from a number UK airports and catch a ferry to Lefkas. The taxi rank is directly outside the terminal and taxi fares are very reasonable to the beautiful town of Fiskardo where the ferry boats leave for Lefkas. Ferries from Fiskardo on Kefalonia to Vassiliki or Nidri on Lefkas run very regularly every day and take around ¾ hour - 1 hour. From here you can take a taxi or bus straight to Lefkas Marina which takes between 25-45 minutes.

  • Fly to Kefalonia (EFL) with Easyjet on Saturdays or Sundays.  The 3 hour transfer from Kefalonia to Lefkas is by ferry and taxi.
