Benitsesis is an idyllic stop-off and former fishing village set amidst wooded hills on the east coast of Corfu located just 8 miles south of beautiful Old Corfu town (Kerkyra) and facing the Greek mainland.
The mountains are surrounded by luscious green vegetation that overlook the turquoise ocean. Although Benitses is a very old village that is proud of its Greek traditions, it is also a busy tourist resort. Although it has since become a more cosmopolitan spot, it is able to do so without losing its Greek charm and authentic beauty.
