Island Sailing's yachts

The new model Oceanis 55 is one of the largest sailing yachts available for charter from Athens. A beautiful luxury yacht, clean lines, masses of space and easy to handle and sail the new Oceanis 55 from Beneteau has an avant-garde design perfect for sailing in Greek waters. The yacht is an ideal choice for almost any sized family, groups of friends or up to five couples who enjoy sailing together. It’s also a perfect option for a skippered yacht charter and with so much space and versatility it can comfortably accommodate up to 10 people in private cabins. The settee in the saloon also makes into a double bed to sleep 2 more and this large yacht also offers 6'6" (1.91 m) headroom in the salon.

The Oceanis 55 has 6 cabins in total, 4 doubles, 1 twin and a separate skipper’s cabin. There are also 4 bathrooms/toilets, two of the double cabins have en-suite facilities with an additional bathroom for guests as well as a separate skippers bathroom/toilet.

The yacht has everything you would expect and more. Although she is a large yacht she is easy to sail, even with a small crew onboard. Fully battened mainsails with lazy jacks and lazy bag and bow thrusters also makes sailing and manoeuvring her a breeze! Below deck she is extremely light and airy and has lots of opening hatches and port lights, cabin fans plus air conditioning as an option. The interior is plush, comfortable and practical with Alpi mahogany joinery and parguet wood floor.

Above deck the well laid out cockpit is perfect for dining and cocktails and there is masses of space for sunbathing and relaxing. And finally, the coolest part of the boat – the swim platform…the electrically-Controlled Transom opens fully, allowing it to turn into a swim platform. Its decking is made of natural wood and has a stainless steel ladder with wood treads.
