Wow…what a time we all had sailing with you and your team. It was a wonderful experience, so memorable and so many laughs.
To be frank none of us had any idea just what to expect as none of us had had a sailing experience before. But you guys made it so easy and enjoyable. We have spoken to so many people about it since our return, so I’m sure you will get heaps of enquiries from down here in the future.
My family, Mia 17, Sam 17 my wife and I, have recently returned from a fabulous Sailing holiday with Island Sailing in Greece.
We had mixed abilities and some sailing experience with other holiday sailing companies both from an onshore base and with flotilla’s and were now looking to take our skills to the next level while on a summer sailing holiday.
Our instructor Andy was excellent. His expert knowledge of sailing as well as the area put us at ease and allowed us to develop our sailing skills while enjoying the beauty of the best spots in the Ionian. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Also, it was great to be part of a flotilla which gave us an opportunity to interact with other sailors. The other Island Sailing instructors/skippers, especially Sam and Billy definitely contributed to our overall positive experience, particularly for our son.
Absolutely brilliant holiday. Having Sam our skipper/instructor onboard for the first day was the perfect balance both for parents and the children. We really enjoyed the sail over to Fiskardo to practice everything Sam had shown us the previous day and the instruction when mooring was great. Amy's favourite place was Fiskardo and we enjoyed being moored with a long-line ashore. We also enjoyed rafting in Frikes, the breakfast at Stavros taverna in Vathy, swimming in Sivota, lunch in Dessimi bay and the Yacht Club at Paleros.
I have been wanting to do my day skipper theory course for many years but due to work have not been able to commit to 20+ weeks of evening classes. After taking the excellent practical course with Island Sailing they mentioned the online theory course that they offer.
Outstanding holiday with Island Sailing aboard Oceanis 37 with Cameron - Thanks to all the team we had a blast with some great sailing conditions and fantastic service from all the team. Beth and I would like to thank you so much for an outstanding holiday with yourselves and your team. From the initial enquiry right through to leaving on the last day (25 minutes from leaving the boat to bags being checked in on the flight to manchester!) you put a lot of time and effort into ensuring our break was of a very high quality.
Thank you so much for a lovely holiday. Dealing with you was such a pleasure and that contributed to the overall enjoyment which we got from the holiday. We had an amazing time.
