RYA Sailing Courses in Greece + Family Flotilla Sailing: McWhirter Family, Scotland

Just a short note to thank you both for a fantastic holiday and for a very detailed, and helpful process from our initial enquiry to leaving to come home, your attention to detail and customer focus is just first class and certainly put me at ease from the first call and email I made (and the many in between!).

This was our first sailing holiday and incorporating our training in week one was quite a daunting task for us but you reassured me the whole way through. Our first week’s training was handled expertly by Ian and having both a 10 year old and 13 year old as well as 2 novices I have to say he was just  fantastic, offering advice in a very calm and professional manner.  We were a little unsure about having the instructor living with us during that week on board but for any others considering they should not be concerned as Ian respectfully gave us our own space as well as making lovely breakfasts and lunches!  And we all passed !!

Having the opportunity to join the North flotilla as part of our training in week one was just amazing and then heading south for week 2 meant we covered the full itinerary.  Although I still say the North was my favourite with Paxos simply being the best.

The highlight of our holiday was certainly sailing the second week South on “Arista”.  She is such a beautifully finished yacht and your attention to detail with all the finishing touches and level of cleanliness, towels, I pod lead etc just provided us with a level of luxury that surpassed our expectations.

I suppose as you said the success of our second week was based on the number of calls I made to you (being Mr Particular that I am ), and I am delighted that I made none as everything had well been thought through, was on board, or written down and explained in detail before we left Lefkas.

This certainly is a holiday for children as both Holly and Lewis had a fabulous holiday and the structure of the days sailing kept them occupied and always looked forward to getting the swim platform down to snorkel and swim in those spectacular private secluded bays.
