RYA Sailing Courses Greece
Island Sailing is a British fully accredited Royal Yachting Association Training Centre offering a comprehensive range of practical RYA training courses from our base on Lefkas, Greece as well as online RYA theory courses.
Take a sailing course in Greece and enjoy the Greek islands in the sun with a full range of courses to choose from for complete beginners through to experienced sailors. You can also combine a sailing course with a flotilla holiday or a bareboat charter and with a recognised sailing qualification return to the Greek islands again or visit other sailing destinations in the Mediterranean and beyond.
RYA sailing courses are available to suit all experience levels from complete beginner to expert sailor and can be taken onboard a sea school yacht or on your own boat if you have one. Courses include RYA Start Yachting and RYA Competent Crew for beginners and novices, RYA Day Skipper ideal for yacht charter holidays through to RYA Coastal Skipper and RYA Yacht Master for the advanced sailor.
If you are looking to charter a yacht in Greece at least one member of crew (the skipper) should have RYA Day Skipper sailing qualification or an ICC (International Certificate of Competence) to satisfy the Greek authorities.
