A sailing refresher is a great option for less experienced sailors who already possess a skipper's qualification looking to learn more or for those a little rusty to brush up on their sailing skills. The aim of a sailing refresher is to give you and your crew the confidence to sail and relax with an Island Sailing flotilla.

The refresher gves you the chance to unwind and get used to the boat and the sailing area. Your friendly instructor is with you for the first days of your holiday and can offer informal sailing tuition for all ages and experience levels in a relaxed and fun way and can leave the boat each evening after you are moored safely. Practice stern to mooring with your instructor and take advantage of their sailing expertise and knowledge of the sailing area visiting all the best ports, bays and tavernas.

Having a Island Sailing instructor onboard lets you develop your skills and for your family or friends to learn and gain experience and confidence in a relaxed informal setting. Keep the instructor for as little or long as you need and then enjoy flotilla sailing.

Once the instructor leaves your yacht you and your crew will be happy and confident to sail safely together around the Ionian Islands in flotilla. You must already possess a valid skipper's qualification like RYA Day Skipper or an ICC (International Certificate of Competence) as you are the skipper of the yacht.
